WHY THIS REGION?

THE EASTERN AEGEAN REGION, including the northern Aegean Islands and the Dodeccanese Islands to the south, have always been stepping stones for migration into Europe. There are several paths across the Mediterranean Sea in Europe --and this route from Turkey to the Islands has been one of the keyt routes for centuries, including the last decade. Given such, the scattering of the church to this region makes great sense to see the Kingdom of God and the Gospel of Grace proclaimed among both the displaced and the Greek people.
